The Jansen EFGCH-175 mulcher is built especially robust and features a hydraulic side shift, which sets it apart in its category. It is equipped with a reinforced angular gearbox, ensuring excellent performance.
The mulcher has a working width of 172 cm and is driven by a PTO shaft, which is included in the delivery.
With the hydraulic side shift function, the mulcher can be moved to the left and right. This requires a hydraulic circuit on the tractor, as the mulcher is equipped with a double-acting hydraulic cylinder for this function.
Maintenance is simple thanks to the openable rear cover, which provides easy access for replacing the hammer blades. Important: the rear cover must always remain closed during operation.
This mulcher features the most robust gearbox in its class. Unlike machines with lightweight Y-blades, this model boasts high inertia generated by heavy hammers and a solid shaft, which provides the machine with superior mulching performance.
The mulcher is equipped with 28 specially hardened hammer blades, each weighing 0.8 kg. These are mounted on a double-spiral drive shaft, shredding the material into fine mulch. This machine can easily handle tall grass, shrubs, and straw residue.
Additional features include a rear roller and a freewheel gearbox. The cutting height can be adjusted using the top link and side skids. Front suspended galvanized flaps prevent stones from being ejected.
The mulcher is mounted using a three-point hitch (minimum Cat. I). A tractor with at least 30 HP is recommended.
